From 7:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., Old City Cemetery invites you to Midnight in the Grave Garden, a chilling Halloween experience where spooky fun meets the darker side of Lynchburg’s history. As night falls, wander among centuries-old graves and historic grounds while uncovering eerie tales, local legends, and stories of those who came before us. Throughout the night, guests can take part in spooky activities and eerie experiences inspired by Halloween, history, and the mysteries of the cemetery—you never know what you might encounter along the way. When you’re ready to escape the shadows, enjoy sinister bites and haunting refreshments included with your ticket, featuring recipes from Old City Cemetery’s cookbook: Food to Die For. With activities happening throughout the evening, chilling history, Halloween surprises, delicious bites, and the cemetery as your backdrop, there will be plenty to discover from dusk until midnight. Come in costume, gather your bravest friends, and prepare to experience Old City Cemetery in a way you’ve never seen it before.
